1 Selection Analysis Views.
Selection analysis views are another method to assist in selecting projects for the budget plan. They enable the planner to focus on non-time distributed aspects of the plan, such as return on investment, risk and project locations.
2. Chart layouts.
Chart layouts are configured and associated with portfolios prior to the budget planning process. Select Published Views to see the list of available layouts. All existing scenarios are available. You can create new scenarios, too. Charts are displayed based on the layout.
3. Bar Chart and Pie Chart.
In this example, there is a bar chart displaying forecast totals by project locations and a pie chart. A grid is included with every view. It has all the same functionality as the budget planning view, but without the time scale data. It allows the planner to select or unselect projects for the budget plan.
4. Interactive Charts.
Change the view to include projects, and the charts become interactive based on the projects selected in the grid.
