Use evaluation categories to evaluate and rank projects for execution.

1. Create Evaluation Categories
In this video, we'll explore how evaluation categories are created and scores calculated for projects. To get started, create evaluation categories at the Workspace level in Summary and Settings. Create up to two levels of categories and assign a weight to each. Then decide the ranking scale for each category.

2. Threshold type categories.
Projects can also be evaluated automatically using threshold type categories. Fields such as budget, risk and Net Present Value can be used to configure the thresholds.

3. Evaluation Page.
Project managers use the Evaluation Page to rank their project against each evaluation category. For example, how much of an impact will the cost benefit of the project have? Based on the ranking selected, a Score is generated for each category as well as an overall evaluation score. For threshold type category, a score is automatically generated based on the values

4. Prioritization Matrix.
The portfolio manager uses the Prioritization Matrix to evaluate all the projects. She can set or override the rankings and collaborate directly with the project manager using the Discussions feature.

5. Portfolio Scorecard page and Budget Planning page

The evaluation scores can be viewed on the Portfolio Scorecard page and Budget Planning page as project attributes to get a sense of the projects relative priority. [MUSIC PLAYING]
