Monitor the performance of the budget plan after it is approved.
1. View threshold values.
View threshold values on the Scorecard page to analyze budget plan metrics. Budget plan thresholds are set at the portfolio level using summary and settings.
2. Configure three levels of KPI.
Configure three levels of key performance indicators - project fields to track individual project progress, project summary fields to monitor totals of all the projects in the plan, and portfolio fields to track values at the portfolio level. Click Add and select the KPI to monitor.

3. Configure the parameters, indicator and color.
Configure the parameters as well as the indicator and color. When thresholds for the budget plan are met, users are notified via notification and/or email. This enables users to be notified without having to monitor the Scorecard page. The top half of the Scorecard page automatically displays tiles configured for portfolio field thresholds. The bottom half displays project and project summary information. Use Show to display only projects approved in the budget plan.
4. Access Project Performance.
Indicators allow you to quickly access Project Performance. Use review flags to select projects that require further evaluation. This project's actuals are greater than its approved budget, as noted by the indicator.
5. Create snapshots.
Create snapshots to capture progress of the plan. As the plan progresses, use the snapshots to look back at historical values. Snapshots are available for each project. Filter the view to look at snapshots for a particular time period.
