OPC Schedule Management: Module 10 Primavera Cloud Mobile


LESSON 10-2: Using the Primavera Cloud Mobile App (Under Development)

This tutorial describes:
• The project Overview screen
• How to use the menu to navigate to Overview, Work Plan, Constraints, Task List, My Activities, and Files pages in the app
• How to access the help documentation

1. Overview screen.
Tap a downloaded project and drill down to the project Overview screen. The overview by default displays a three-week snapshot of scheduled activities and task progress. Task Progress illustrates completed committed and pending tasks. Tasks by Company represents the sum of all tasks in the current week that are assigned to each company and their status. View the Activities graph to view the count of Starting, In Progress and Completing activities over the three-week snapshot. Identify Missed Commitments for all tasks in the project. There may be multiple commitments on any task, with some requiring immediate attention. 
Drill drown to view missed commitment details, and tap here to find the task in the work plan. Here you can flag, recommit, complete or delete a task. In this example, a few tasks are flagged for follow-up. Note this change is not made immediately available to other team members until it is first published to the cloud.


2. Menu.
Use the menu to navigate to pages in the app. Tap here to return to the Overview. 


3. WorkPlan.
The Work plan displays scheduled tasks and activities within a three-week period. Toggle between week and day day views. Tap a task to view its details. Scroll down to start a discussion thread, view commitment history, adjust constraints or view handoffs.
Use the diagram to view task successors and predecessors. Tapping on one of the arrows will display additional details like lag and slack. Edit to change task details like the name, the company assigned to do the work and duration. And view custom fields specific to your organization.


4. Constraints.
View Constraints associated with the project. Deliver a constraint to remove an obstacle to dependent tasks. Edit constraint to make changes. For example, extend the date needed. Duplicate a constraint to copy its properties. Attach files to the constraint such as a site diagram and then start a discussion with stakeholders. View tasks impacted by the constraint here.


5. Task List.
Use the Task List to filter due or pending tasks. Flag, commit, recommit and delete tasks. View discussions, commitments, constraints and handoffs. And edit to change the company performing the work, assign users or access custom fields.


6. My Activities.
View activities assigned to you, those that are active, due, flagged or completed activities. View its status, review files and engage in discussions. Select an activity and view its predecessors and successors. Use this field to call or e-mail the stakeholder responsible for the work. Edit an activity to update durations access custom fields and complete an activity.


7. Files.
Finally, access project-related files downloaded to your device here. Filter recent files, browse for files not yet downloaded, or select to view files that have been previously downloaded to your device. Then review site photos and blueprints on the job site.


8. Help.
Return to the menu to access the help documentation. And sign out of Primavera Cloud mobile for iOS
