LESSON 2-2: Using Primavera Gateway

This lesson describes how to:

•    use Business flows to add data to workspace and project level

1. Primavera Gateway integration option

Primavera Gateway is unique among Primavera Cloud integration options in that it allows you to import custom business flows and integrate with other applications in addition to P6. To begin, enter your Primavera Gateway connection information, and then select the custom synchronizations to use in Primavera Cloud.

2. Use Business flows to add data to workspace and project level
Global business flows add data to the workspace level. The project business flows add data to the project level. Open a project. And from the synchronize page, run jobs to transfer data between the applications. In this example, we have new project data in Primavera Cloud that we want updated in P6.

3. Run Synchronization
Select sends Primavera Cloud project data to P6. Synchronizations run in the background. You will receive a notification when the process has completed. Data added in Primavera Cloud is displayed in P6. Similarly, if you add resources in P6 that you want to sync in Primavera Cloud, select send resources to Primavera Cloud. When the job is complete, view the newly added resources in Primavera Cloud.
